Glass doors and shower panels
For: glaziers and installers
Add logos and ID marks after the glass is installed. On tempered glass, start at low power and test a corner first.
Configuration overview
The HeatSign HS-PUV05 is a portable UV laser marking machine. It has a 5W, 355 nm UV laser and a touchscreen in one unit that weighs about 4 kg. Take this handheld UV laser marking machine to glass doors, car windows, and large plastic parts. Mark or engrave text, logos, patterns, images, serial numbers, and QR codes without moving the item.
Choose your power source
Both versions have the same laser and features. Only the power source is different.
Most UV laser machines sit on a desk. The item must fit inside the machine. A glass door, a car window, or a big control cabinet will not fit.
A portable UV laser marking machine solves this. You take the machine to the item. Some buyers call it a portable UV laser engraver.
It is a laser marking machine you can carry by hand. It uses 355 nm ultraviolet (UV) light, which barely heats the material. So it can make sharp, permanent marks on glass, plastic, and coated metal, even on items too big for a desktop machine.
1. Design your mark on the touchscreen, or load a file from a USB drive.
2. Put on the 355 nm safety goggles. Place the orange focus hood flat on the item.
3. Press the button once. A red light shows where the mark will go.
4. Press the button again to start marking.
Four reasons it is easy to use on site every day.

As a UV laser engraver for glass, the HS-PUV05 leaves a fine white frosted mark and barely heats the glass. You do not need spray, stencils, or acid.

For: auto glass shops and dealers
Mark VINs and IDs in the shop or on the car lot, using the built-in VIN tool. See our VIN etching guide.
For: spirits and perfume brands, event teams
Add names, dates, and logos in the store or at events. Flatter areas of a bottle give the best result.
For: interior, sign, and furniture shops
The laser removes a thin layer of coating to create a sharp logo or pattern.
For frosting a whole glass panel, sandblasting still makes sense. For logos, IDs, and codes that change often, a UV laser etching machine saves time and supplies.
Besides glass, it marks and engraves plastic, acrylic, ceramic, wood, leather, and painted or anodized metal.
For: equipment makers, field service teams
This UV laser marker adds serial numbers, QR codes, and Data Matrix codes to housings and control panels. Unlike labels, the marks do not peel off. Learn more about plastic laser marking.
For: nameplate makers, panel builders
Remove paint or anodizing to show sharp, easy-to-read text and logos on aluminum panels and coated steel.
For: electrical and pipe installers
Mark sizes, specs, and serial numbers on cables and PVC pipe without cutting them.
For: sign makers, tile makers, gift shops
Engrave logos and patterns on large acrylic signs, tiles, basins, wooden boxes, and leather goods.
