Why Choose the HeatSign CO2 Laser Marking Machine?

The HS-CL Series is built around a sealed RF CO2 metal tube. That means stable power, a long service life, and air cooling with no chiller. A fast galvo head steers the beam, so most marks finish in seconds. You can pick 40W or 60W, add a rotary axis for round parts, and run everything from simple EZCAD software. Here is what that means for your shop.

RF Metal Tube

A long-life RF metal tube rated for over 20,000 hours of stable work. No glass tube to replace often.

Air-Cooled by Default

The tube is air-cooled, so there is no water, no pump, and no freeze risk. Need tighter temperature control? Water cooling is available as an option.

Fast Galvo Marking

The galvo head reaches up to 7,000 mm/s. Most small jobs finish in seconds, not minutes.

No Consumables

No inks and no labels. Marks are made by the laser, so running cost and mess stay low.

Wide Material Range

Marks wood, acrylic, leather, glass, paper, rubber, and most plastics. In short, it covers almost all non-metal materials.

Easy Software

Runs EZCAD. It imports AI, PLT, and DXF, and builds serial numbers and codes for you.

CO2 laser plastic marking

Plastics

Mark permanent codes and logos on ABS and many industrial plastics.

ceramic marking

Glass & Ceramics

Light surface branding is possible, but some glass can crack. Test a sample first. For glass, a UV laser is often the better choice.

paper package

Paper & Packaging

Print date codes, batch numbers, and branding on cartons and labels.

Good to know: CO2 lasers are made for non-metals. This machine can mark coated or painted metal (the laser removes the coating), but it cannot mark bare metal. For steel or aluminum part marking, use a fiber laser marking machine instead.

Need a Different Material Tested?

Thanks to flexible laser controls, Heatsign CO2 laser marking system can easily mark many non-metals and layers. Contact our support team today to check compatibility for your unique parts.

See it work, and learn how it works

Watch a short demo on the left. Read the simple steps on the right.

In the clip, you can watch marks form on wood, acrylic, and plastic. The part stays still. Only the beam moves, so the result is fast and clean.

Notice how little setup it needs. There is no ink, no stencil, and no contact with the part. The sealed RF metal tube fires the beam, and the air-cooled design means no chiller and no warm-up.

Every mark is permanent. It will not smudge, peel, or wash off. You can mark text, logos, dates, serial numbers, and barcodes in one pass.

The same machine handles many jobs. Switch from a wood gift to an acrylic sign to a plastic part in seconds — just load a new file in EZCAD. Pick 40W for daily work, or 60W for deeper, faster marks.

How does a CO2 laser marking machine work?

It is simple:

1. A sealed CO2 tube makes an infrared laser beam.

2. A fast galvo head uses two mirrors to aim the beam.

3. A lens focuses the beam onto the surface.

4. The beam heats the surface and leaves a permanent mark.

The part does not move. Only the beam moves. That is why it is fast and accurate.

CO2 laser marking machine vs traditional CO2 engraving machine

The short answer: a galvo CO2 marker is built for fast, small, permanent marks. A traditional CO2 engraving machine moves a head on rails and is built for large cutting and engraving. Here is how they compare.

Feature

Our quick recommendation: If you mark or etch non-metals — wood, acrylic, leather, plastic, paper, or glass — and you want speed, a small footprint, and low upkeep, a galvo CO2 laser marking machine is the right tool. Pick a traditional CO2 engraving machine only when you need large-format cutting or deep relief on big panels. And if you must mark bare metal, choose a fiber laser instead.

CO2 vs fiber laser marking: a quick guide

Buyers often ask which laser to choose. The simple rule: CO2 is for non-metals, fiber is for bare metal. They use different wavelengths, so each one suits different materials.

CO2 Laser Marking Machine: Frequently Asked Questions

Will the mark last? Is it permanent and wear-resistant?

Yes. The laser changes the surface itself, so there is no ink to rub off. On most non-metals the mark resists handling, washing, and normal wear. For outdoor parts that face years of sun and weather, send a sample so we can confirm the result first.

How does it look on wood and leather? Will the edges burn?

On wood and leather the laser leaves a clean, brown engraved tone. The exact shade depends on the material. Light, dense woods give the sharpest look. We tune the power and speed to keep edges clean and avoid heavy scorching.

Can it mark glass without cracking it?

Light surface branding on glass is possible, but some glass can crack under the heat. We suggest a sample test first. If glass is your main job, a UV laser is usually the better and safer choice, and we can advise on that.

What about coated or painted metal? How does that look?

The CO2 laser removes the top coating to reveal the base layer underneath. This gives a clear, high-contrast mark on anodized aluminum, painted, or powder-coated parts. It does not mark bare, uncoated metal — that needs a fiber laser.

Will it overheat or slow down during long runs?

The sealed RF tube is air-cooled and built for steady, all-day work. For very heavy, non-stop production, water cooling is available as an option to hold the temperature even tighter and keep the speed stable.

How do I mark round parts like bottles or tumblers?

Add the optional rotary axis. It turns the part at a set speed while the laser marks, so the text or code wraps evenly around the curve. Tell us your part diameter and we will match the right rotary setup.

Is it hard to set up and learn?

No. It ships ready to run with EZCAD software, which most operators learn in a day. A double red light pointer shows the correct focus height, so you do not have to measure by hand. We also provide setup guidance and videos.

What is the warranty, lead time, and after-sales support?

Every machine comes with a 1-year warranty and lifetime online support. Standard lead time is about 7 working days. As the maker, we ship direct and help with setup, software, and spare parts.

See Your Mark Before You Buy

Every material reacts a little differently. Wood tone, acrylic depth, and coated-metal contrast all vary. So let us prove it on your part. Send your file or sample, and we will mark it on a CO2 machine, share a photo of the result, and send a clear price. Built by the maker — 1-year warranty and shipping in about 7 working days.

Customer Reviews After Real CO2 Laser Marking Use

See how users evaluate HeatSign CO2 laser marking machines after real setup and daily production. These reviews share practical feedback on non-metal marking quality, parameter testing, ventilation, and stable results for small-batch and production work.

We mark logos and item codes on dark plastic housings. The 60W model gives us better speed than the smaller CO2 laser we used before. Some plastics need testing first, but once the parameters are right, the mark is stable and readable.

We use the CO2 laser for logos and serial numbers on wallets and straps. The branding looks clean and permanent. Some leather types smell more during marking, so ventilation is important, but the result is much better than hot stamping for small batches.
